Referee's Uniforms

Wondering what uniform you can wear as a referee during a Townsville Junior Touch Football match? Looking to order your own uniform? See below for more information!

What Uniform Can I Wear?

There is only one acceptable uniform that you can wear when officiating a Townsville Junior Touch Football match, the official Touch Football Australia referee's uniform (lime-green & white).

While you don't have to wear the correct shorts/skirt and/or socks, you need to at least wear the correct shirt!

Please note: the NQTA Regional Referee's Uniform (White/Black/Red) is not a recognised TFA referee's uniform and is therefore not to be worn at any Townsville Junior Touch Football matches.

Where Can I Purchase My Own?

Townsville Junior Touch Football does not sell referees uniforms, instead you can purchase your own set of the Touch Football Australia Referee's Uniform (white/lime-green) direct from the supplier, BLK.

While orders are processed immediately, and payment is made online via credit card or paypal, delivery time can vary depending on the supplier's stock levels.

Can I Borrow a Uniform?

If you don't want to purchase your own uniform, you can borrow a shirt on game night from the Administration window.

Shirts must be returned before the end of the night so they can be washed and available for the following night.

Do I Have to Wear my Referee's Badge?

While it is part of the national referee's uniform, we don't expect you to wear your badge when you officiate in any of our matches.

You may notice some of our senior referees wearing theirs because they are proud to show off their achievements as a touch football referee.
