The Touch Football Australia (TFA) Coaching Accreditation Framework and National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) now provides for four (4) levels of accreditation within the coaching ranks of the sport.
We hold accreditation courses for new coaches as close as possible to the start of our competitions, to ensure new and returning coaches can attend.

A touch football coaching qualification last for a period of four (4) years from the date of issue.
To ensure our coaches remain up-to-date with the correct coaching skills and techniques, at the end of this four year period your accreditation will expire, unless you update or upgrade it.
To remain "current", you must be actively coaching. The criteria for maintaining currency is set out by TFA in the Coaching Accreditation Framework. Put simply, to maintain your currency and keep you accreditation as a touch football coach, you must actively coach touch football teams at the level of your accreditation.
If your coaching accreditation is nearing the end of it's four-year period, and you wish to maintain your status at that level, you must submit a Coach Accreditation Update Form to Touch Football Australia.

Alternatively, you can attend and complete a coaching course at the same or higher level.
